Important message concerning applications

All applicants applying for Schengen visa to Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Sweden and Finland can go to the Visa Application Centre (VAC) of VFS (Visa Facilitator Services) in 6th floor, East Tower, World Trade Center, Echelon Place, Colombo 1 to submit their application on their own convenience in the opening hours of the VFS VAC. This also apply for applications for long stay or residence permit in Norway, Denmark or Iceland.
As of Monday 20 June 2011 the VAC has moved to the above address and will be open:
Monday - Friday 08.00 - 16.00
To avoid any waiting at VFS all applying for a Schengen Visa are advised to register the application at the Application Portal where you can make a booking at VFS and thereby get priority in the line. See more information here.
Change of procedure
As of 01 November 2010 the previous compulsory questionnaire and supplementory form has been removed and replaced with a compulsory written interview to be done at the VFS VAC when submitting the application.
