Handling time
The handling time for an application for a Schengen visa (type C) that is being processed by the Embassy depends on the nature of the application and the Embassy's work load, but normally takes 10-20 days. All cases for applicants to Denmark must recon one additional week due to a certain procedure in Denmark. The applicant will be contacted by the Embassy when the case has been processed.
Special information about Denmark
Applications for a visa to Denmark not granted by the Norwegian Embassy, will be discontinued (which is not a refusal). The applicant will get a letter with instructions how to contact the Danish Consulate in Colombo for further processing their application by The Royal Danish Embassy in New Delhi.
