The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Colombo wishes to inform the general public that with effect from 28th April 2008, appointments would have to be obtained by those who wish to utilise the services of the Consular Section of this Embassy, viz. submission of visa applications, residence permits etc. by calling telephone number (011) 2469611 between 09.00 and 11.00 from Monday to Thursday. Please note that numbers will not be issued hereafter by the security personnel of this Embassy for the above mentioned purpose.
For applicants from The Maldives
Due to the fact that the Norwegian Embassy in Colombo also is accredited to The Maldives, citizens from The Maldives are supposed to apply for visa to Norway, Denmark and Iceland at the Norwegian Embassy in Colombo. All applications from The Maldives will be given priority since they normally have to travel to Colombo only for the purpose of applying for a visa.
