In connection with the 100 year centenary of the death of the Norwegian dramatist Henrik Ibsen, a new Internet site has been launced for the Norwegian Embassy in Colombo.
Throughout 2006 a series of events will be organised to mark the great importance of Ibsen nationally and internationally.
The Ibsen site will contain information on the different events in relation to the Ibsen year in Sri Lanka.
The site will present comprehensive information on henrik Ibsen as a writer. The site will also contain references to additional information on Ibsen.
Ibsen worldwide has been established in 91 countries and in 18 languages, and is part of "Norway - the official site". Ibsen worldwide is collaboration between the National Ibsen Committee and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
